A 30-metre foot high underwater wall, lies directly off our shore. Scuba divers who brave the strong currents and cold water are rewarded with a profusion of undersea life.

The Ten Mile Point Ecological Reserve was created in 1975 to protect this unique offshore area. Marine mammals (including orcas and the occasional grey whale), fish, and a wide variety of water fowl often drop by for a snack.
